"The twin Pagoda Temple" is located in the south of Hao zhuang village, the southeast suburb of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.

The original name is Yong zuo temple, which is popularly called today because of the towering twin towers in the temple. It was built by the eminent monk Buddha Deng in the Wan li period of the Ming Dynasty. The existing main buildings in the temple are all brick structures.
